Pin Parvati Pass trek is a challenging one due to walking over glaciers as we begin in the Parvati Valley in Kullu and end in Pin Valley in Spiti. Beginning in Manikaran, we will be passing several villages as well as alpine mountains, meadows and lakes. We will come across glaciers as we trek upstream of the Parvati River. Before reaching in Spiti Valley, we will have to cross the Pin Parvati Pass 5219 m (17,122 ft.), which brings us to the highest point of our trek. We will explore Spiti’s valley and its monasteries before driving back to Manali through Kaza and Rohtang Pass.




 

Detailed Itinerary


Day 01: Arrival early 7:00am at Manali-Chandertal camp.

This day arrival early Morning 7:00am at Manali freshnup Breakfast Move to Chandertal via Tempo Traveller lunch at chattru, 2:00pm noon will reach Before 7km of Chandertal will start trek to Chandertal for Acclamitization trek will reach Chandertal camp tea snack, Soup dinner and over night stay at camp.


Day 02: Chandertal to Mudd

The 2nd day will move to Mudd via tempo traveller Mudd is the Last Village of pin valley,

Pack lunch at Kaza, by the evening 3:00pm will reach at Mudd village 20minuts trek to Mudd camp tea snack ,soup dinner over night stay at Mudd Camp.


Day 3: Mudd to Wichkurung Thatch

4-5hr walks from Mud village. The whole route is on the broad mud road till Wichkurung Thach. The views of the spiti valley were once again incredible. Evening reach at Wichkurung Thach camp Over night stay at Camp.

 

Day 04: Wichkurung Thatch to Pin valley side camp

The trail gets better as we proceed through the Pin Parvati Valley. We will also have to cross a few streams, so a pair of trainers in your day bag would suffice. Edelweiss and other flowers can be seen along the way, as well as the changing colour of the mountain is unique and in the evening sunlight makes the surrounding even more beautiful. We will then have reached in the small picturesque village of Pin base river side, tea snack soup dinner over night stay at Base camp.

 

Day 05: Pin valley side camp to Camp1 .4800mtr

This day start trek to CAMP1 its 5hrs trek we will go through big boulders valley, will follow the mountain ridge, cross the glaciar by the evening reach at CAMP1 this area totaly glaciar area we will pitch the tents on the glaciar, next day from here pin pass will easy to cross us dinner over night stay at Camp 1.

 

Day 06: Camp1 .4800mtr-PIN PASS-Mantalai lake

Today it will be easy to summit the pass, will start trek 9:30am-11:00am will cross the pass

Will take photos aftre half an hour decend to Mantalai lake camp, will see the beautiful greenish area by decending down,will see the Origion of Parvati River. Evening reach at Mantalai camp rest Dinner over night stay at Manatalai camp.

 

Day 07: Mantalai (13400 Ft. 5 hrs) to Thakurkuan

We will continue walking gradually decend on the right bank of the Parvati River. Thakurkuan is a big meadow with a big ground with the one side rock face area, evening reach at Thakurkuan camp tea snack soup Dinner over night stay at Camp.

 

Day 08: Thakur Kuan (11,000ft, 5 hours) to Tunda Bhuj

The trail becomes different beautiful at two points, as we cross through a profusion of wild flowers, iris, buttercups, poppies, phulumises and other several varieties. As you begin to gain some altitude, the scenery becomes prettier. After the initial decend across the Pandu bridge, this consists of two huge rocks over the river. Many shepherds with their flocks can be seen on the route. By evening time, we will have reached at the campsite.

 

Day 09: Tunda Bhuj (10,500ft, 5 hours) to Khirganga

There are two trails; trekkers tend to use the lower one, which goes through the fields of wild flowers. This is a holy place of Lord Shiva there is one Hot spring kunndh people will go there for take a holy bath, after a long trek reaching there you can take relaxation in the hot water kunndh evening tea snack soup Bonefire spend a good time Dinner over night stay at Camp.

 

Day 10: Khirganga to Barshaini- Manali via Tempo traveller.

There are one trail till barshaini to Vehicle point, on the trail you will see people are doing trek to Keerganga , you can intrect with local villagers 3:00pm will reach at  Vehicle point Drive to Manali by Tempo traveller.

 

Day 11: One day we have kept as a spare day in between the trek for if any problem like

Note : Trekker must have done at least one Himalayan trek before (14000 Ft.)
Normally we expect you to carry your personal luggage on your own, if you don’t want to carry your backpack so you can give it to porter, but you have to inform us in advance and have to pay Rs. 400/- extra per day per bag.

Paying the Trek/ Adventure activity fee:
The fee can be paid by online transfer. Instruction for payment will be forwarded along with your confirmation email.

When to book: 

It is wise to make your booking at least two months in advance. However, if you want a good deal on your domestic/international flight, we recommend organising your trip at least five months in advance. (Please contact us if you require a late booking) 

In the event of cancellation of trek/adventure activity services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reasons we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows: –
Cancellation done 1 month or prior in advance :  30% cancellation fees will be deducted out of full amount.

Cancellation done 10 days or prior in advance :  70% cancellation fees will be deducted out of full amount.

Within 10 days, no cancellation and no refund.
